They do not. My wife has several flutes, and it does no one except the factory for polishing. Never let someone like him. The only correct method is completely reversed, with a special silver paint with your hand. It requires skills, and most flutes no money. We know not even discuss joint custody 24K head!
What made your flute? Brass? If so, can re-chrome, if not, try rubbing the scratches with a very light rubbing compound.
