The white fungus on the tongue is usually candida ... also known as thrush. It is a common infection in critically ill patients whose immune systems are reduced. Therefore, it is common in patients with advanced cancer and HIV patients. It can be easily treated. Thus, the relationship due to the dwindling immunity in cancer.
